Project WILD and WILD about Elk Workshop

You will be trained for and receive the Project WILD and WILD about ELK Curriculum and Activity Guides. Project WILD’s mission is to help students learn how to think, not what to think about wildlife and the environment.

When: Monday, July 17, 2017, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Where:  Prairie State Park Nature Center, 128 NW 150th Lane, Mindenmines, MO 64769

Bring: Sack lunch, snacks, and drinks (No stores or restaurants are nearby.)

Cost: Registration fee is $30.00; checks must be made out to DBA as Flying WILD

(RMIP will cover the fee for Missouri State Parks interpreters and you may register by email). Registration deadline is July 10, 2017.

Project WET and WILD Aquatic Workshop for Interpreters

This workshop will include Project WET (Water Education for Teachers) and Project WILD Aquatic.  The workshop will encompass hands-on activities and at the completion of the training, you will receive both the Project WET and Project WILD Aquatic guidebooks.  This is a great opportunity to gain water activities for your classroom or educational needs!

When: July 25, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

This Professional Development workshop provides you with the Project WET (Water Education for Teachers) and Project Learning Tree Activity Guides and training to use within your classroom OR educational program. It is great for K-12 teachers, interpreters, as well as all other educators who work with the public.

When: Friday, July 28, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Location: Mingo National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, Puxico, MO
