Facilitator Training Workshop in January 2019
Projects Facilitator Training qualifies you to facilitate or co-facilitate your own Project WET, WILD or PLT workshop and allows you to become part of a bigger MO Projects Facilitator Network and work with other professionals. In Missouri, we do train for all Projects at one training, even though some may naturally work with one Project over another. As a Projects Facilitator, your primary audience will be other adults who work with youth and children–you are also still welcome to use Projects activities with students and kids too.
We are also offering a separate (but, not mandatory!) Projects Facilitator Training for Early Childhood in an attempt to differentiate between the audience needs of Early Childhood participants and tips for working with early childhood children.
Please note that you may sign up for only ONE of the Projects Facilitator Trainings OR both–registration prices differ accordingly.
Please find two attachments–the invitation letter and the registration form for the Projects Facilitator Training. Please note that you must have previously attended at least 2 of the 3 Projects workshops as a participant (so, a WET and PLT workshop would be sufficient for the K-12 Facilitator Training OR a Growing Up WILD and an Early Childhood PLT works for the Early Childhood Facilitator Training). We can help you find another Projects workshop to attend as a participant and get in on the Facilitator training next year, if needed.
Location: Windermere Conference Center in Lake of the Ozarks
Dates: Early Childhood on January 24, 2019 and K-12 Workshop on January 25-26, 2019
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: December 7, 2018
Cost: Early Childhood Workshop = $25; K-12 Workshop = $55
